4 win newsroom mayoral poll
Thanks to the 20 newsroom employees who played our “just -for-fun” election contest on Nov. 7.
In the Toledo Mayor’s race, the unofficial tally had Wade Kapszukiewicz capturing 55.64 percent of the vote, and Paula Hicks-Hudson with 44.36 percent of the vote. Winners are based on those employees who came in closest to the final tally, without going over.
David Patch had the closest prediction when he called the election for Wade getting 55.4 percent to Paula’s 44.6 percent.
The second place winner was Tom Troy who had the margin at 54-46.
Mark Reiter and Alicia Balog tied for third, with a prediction of Wade taking 53.1 percent of the vote to Paula’s 46.9 percent.
