Blade photographers won 13 awards in the 2021 Ohio News Photographers Association, which were judged March 25-27, 2022.
Rebecca Benson won six awards, including being named the Ron Kuntz Sports Photographer of the Year.
Rebecca’s other awards include:

2nd place in feature - Award of Excellence in pictorial
- Award of Excellence in spot news
Jeremy Wadsworth won five awards:
- 2nd place monthly clip contest photographer of the year
- 1st, 3rd, and Award of Excellence in the product illustration category
- Award of Excellence in the sports picture story category

Award of Excellence in the spot news category
Dave Zapotosky
Award of Excellence in the spot news category.
