Meet Lillian King

Hi! My name is Lillian and I’m a new copy editor with The Blade.

I’m a Toledo native with a BFA in Creative Writing from Bowling Green State University and a master’s degree in Folklore from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. I’ve been working in games journalism since 2018, and I was Fiction Editor of BGSU’s undergraduate literary journal Prairie Margins and UL’s graduate-run journal Rougarou.

After graduation, I worked as an Admissions & Guest Experience Area Supervisor and a full-time Workforce Scheduler at Cedar Point. If you have any questions about the park, I’ve (probably) got the answers! My hobbies outside work include reading, playing video games, and listening to podcasts about reading and video games.

I’m excited to join the team at The Blade and look forward to working with everyone!
