Ice cream gathering planned for next Friday to honor photo staff

We’re planning a little open air event on Friday, April 10 from 3:30-5 p.m. to get together and applaud our photo staff for their impressive representation in a recent state photo contest.

Please join us at the Grosbeak Shelter (a covered outdoor shelter with picnic tables) at the Glass City Metropark, where Swanky Scoops will serve ice cream. You can choose from six different homemade flavors.

(Yes, this is a real ice cream social in the possible cold, but we’re going for it anyway.)

Grosbeak is located roughly in the center of the metropark at 1505 Front St. in East Toledo, near the children’s discovery play area. You should find ample parking in one of the nearby lots.
