Meet Cameron Hart

Growing up in Jersey Shore Pennsylvania, Cameron is a senior at Pennsylvania State University, majoring in Visual Journalism and Business.

Cameron has discovered a passion for telling stories through building relationships and establishing personal connections. He explores documentary photography and journalistic multimedia. Cameron has interned in Penn State’s Office of Social Media, marketing department and online publication Penn State News. He also works at Penn State’s student-run newspaper, The Daily Collegian, as a staff photographer.

Cameron is a member of the National Press Photographers Association and is the president of his local chapter. Cameron has experience in international reporting through the John Curley Center for Sports Journalism covering baseball in Cuba, non-profits in the Dominican Republic and will be covering the upcoming 2016 Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil for the Associated Press. As the 2016 summer photo intern at The Blade, Cameron hopes to gain more experience in daily news photojournalism and multimedia.
