4 win newsroom General Election fun poll
Greg Braknis, Jeff Svoboda, Mac Arnold and Ryan Dunn were all winners in the newsroom General Election Day fun poll.
Greg and Mac were the only voters to predict that Donald Trump would be elected president.
Greg guessed that Trump would get 47.3 percent of the popular vote (as of 11/23/2016 the actual number was 46.6 for Trump; 48.1 for Clinton) and Mac predicted he would get 45.10. Even though Hillary Clinton had more popular votes, Trump won the race in the electoral college.
Jeff came the closet to predicting the outcome in the Lucas County Commissioner race, predicting Pete Gerken would get 56.2 percent of the vote and Ryan projected Gerken would get 56.8 percent. Gerken captured 56.19 percent of the vote, while his challenger, Mike Bell, garnered 43.09 percent.
Thirty-seven newsroom employees participated in our poll.
Each winner takes home an insulated tote, a travel coffee mug and a Blade hat.
Congratulations and thanks for playing.
