Meet Nicki Gorny

My name is Nicki. I grew up outside of Cleveland and am currently living in Sandusky.

I graduated Syracuse University in 2015 with a degree in newspaper and online journalism and Spanish. From there, I moved to Florida to intern with the New York Times Editing Center and cover courts full time for the Ocala Star-Banner.

I moved back to the area in November to report on crime and courts for the Sandusky Register.

I’ll be working in Features, including covering religion, at The Blade.

I was born in Toledo and enjoy books, hikes and thrift stores.
