Meet Javonte Anderson

I grew up in Gary, Ind., before attending Indiana University.

I spent the first year of my professional career at the Post-Tribune in northwest Indiana. While at the Tribune, I was a general assignments/quasi-environmental reporter and had more than 20 stories published in the Chicago Tribune.

I’m always in search of a story that moves people.

I have a fondness for good reads, movies with unexpected plot twists, hip-hop, and all things IU.

When I’m not working, reading, writing or researching, I’m somewhere trying to make my wife happy.
