Meet intern Samantha Madar

Samantha Madar is a recent graduate from Central Michigan University with a Bachelors of Science in Photojournalism. This summer, she will be the photo intern for The Blade.

In college, Samantha was the photo editor for Central Michigan Life and was a photo intern at Central Michigan University of Communications. In 2016, she won Michigan College Photographer of the Year. This will be Samantha’s third news internship, prior she has interned at PennLive in Harrisburg PA, and MLive’s Jackson Citizen Patriot.

Samantha has studied abroad in Prague, Czech Republic and Toledo, Spain and has studied Spanish for 13 years.
