Bri’on received her bachelor’s degree in creative writing from Bowling Green State University in 2017, after which she immediately began her journalism career with the Sentinel-Tribune in Bowling Green. During that time, she covered a wide gamut of beats, including local government, crime, and education.

Prior to completing her undergraduate degree, Bri’on was a freelancer for three publications, including Advanced Magazine in Detroit and The GIRLMOB in Brooklyn. Bri’on grew up in Warren, Ohio, and she enjoys reading and writing poetry.
