Blade finishes 2nd in General Excellence
Winners of the 2019 Ohio APME contest
APME announced its winners on Monday after the May banquet was canceled because of the coronavirus outbreak.
Please note, The Blade was selected second in the state for general excellence among the largest newspapers in Ohio. Credit goes to everyone on our staff.
The Blade is in Division V, which are newspapers with a daily circulation of more than 60,000. Division V includes the Akron Beacon Journal, The Columbus, The (Cleveland) Plain Dealer, The Cincinnati Enquirer, The Dayton Daily News and The Blade.
The Division V entries were judged by editors from The Detroit News.
