Congrats and thanks to all

I want each of you to know how thankful and appreciative we are for your efforts in recent weeks.

Everyone has pitched in, some from The Blade newsroom and others from your kitchen tables and couches. I’ve yet to hear all the places one can find to work at from home, but I am curious.

Our products look excellent, our coverage is comprehensive and quick, and most of all we’re working together as a team. Our transition to a remote newsroom has been a success.

For the month of March, we are planning to recognize all of you as Eddy winners. There is no way to pick one person when everyone is doing their best work.

In the coming days, my plan is to send each of you a restaurant gift card and via email of course. So please be watching. You should be able to buy yourself a lunch or some coffees, when that time comes around again.

I am so thankful for this newsroom and proud of the way we’re collectively covering this story.
