Meet Ahmed Elbenni

It’s a homecoming of sorts for Ahmed, a 2017 Blade summer intern who has joined the features staff as a general assignment writer.

Ahmed is a 2019 graduate of Yale University, with a bachelor’s degree in history and political science, with a focus on intellectual history and political philosophy.

In addition to The Blade, he previously interned as a politics reporter at Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel. Since graduation Ahmed has worked as managing editor at Worrall Media, whose weekly newspapers in and around Union, New Jersey, cover 21 towns.

He enjoys writing about religion, media, and pop culture.
