Jen Lyon named new digital manager

Jen has been selected as the digital manager to replace Mike Brice, who is assuming the role as city editor.

Jen’s first day on the job will be Sunday, Jan. 3.

Since she arrived at The Blade last September, Jen has shown her abilities with production and as a leader, a writer, a designer, and someone who has overall strong news judgment. She played a crucial role on weekends and during the initial stages of the pandemic, when news conferences were frequent and the need for breaking items for the web was constant.

Jen has worked in newspapers for 20 years, and she has 14 years of management experience.
