Blade photographers win 17 awards
Blade photographers captured 17 awards in the 2020 Ohio News Photographers still photo contest. The awards in 70th annual news photography contest were judged on March 12.
Jeremy Wadsworth won eight awards, including second place in the Clip Contest Photographer of the Year category. In other categories, he won a second place award, three third place awards, and three awards of excellence.
Amy Voigt won three awards, including a second place and two awards of excellence.
Rebecca Benson got a third place award and two awards of excellence.
Lori King won an award of excellence.
The staff received second and third place wins in the team picture story category.
Still to be announced are the staff of the year awards and digital category winners, which will come at a later date.
