A new kind of Election Day pizza party
We know pizza is a must when you go to the polls and cover the polls.
For this upcoming election on Tuesday, Nov. 2, we’re spinning a new election tradition as a local food truck will pull up to The Blade building and everyone (newsroom and building-wide) can order his or her own Election Day meal.
This will be available for both the dayside and nightside crews.
Chef Rob’s Side Hustle Pizza Truck, operated by local Chef Rob Campbell, serves pizzas and some wings. He has offerings for vegans and vegetarians too. (See Mary Bilyeu’s Cheap Eats segment on Chef Rob and his pizza truck.)
The food truck will be at the building from 4-7 p.m. We hope you can stop out and grab lunch or dinner on us. See you there.
