Blade sports makes history

The Blade sports department has received a national honor from the Associated Press Sports Editors.

In its 2021 contest, the APSE placed The Blade in the top 10 nationally for best daily sports section in the second-highest division.

It is our understanding this is the first time The Blade has received this distinction. An exact placement within the top 10 will be announced at a later date. We thank the sports department and sports copy desk for their efforts in making this accomplishment a reality.
