Meet Janet Stengle
Janet is our final newsroom intern for 2016. She will be an incoming junior at the University of Notre Dame, where she is a history major and journalism minor. Janet is a Toledo native and a graduate of St. Ursula Academy. Last summer, she was an intern at Toledo City Paper.
Meet Jon Victor
Jon will be a junior this fall at Yale University. He is majoring in philosophy. He also takes courses in journalism and creative writing.
Meet Michelle Liu
Michelle will be a junior at Yale University when classes resume for the fall semester. She is studying art history.
Meet Gabby Deutch
Gabby was born in Cleveland but grew up in Boca Raton, Fla. She will be a junior this fall at Yale University, studying political history.
Meet Elena Saavedra Buckley
Elena will be a rising junior in Yale's Humanities program when she returns to classes this fall. She is originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, where her family lives in the North Valley by the river.
Meet Cameron Hart
Cameron, our photo intern this summer, is a senior at Pennsylvania State University, majoring in Visual Journalism and Business. At Penn State, he works at the student-run newspaper, The Daily Collegian, as a staff photographer.
