Come celebrate Mark Zaborney’s retirement

Mark Zaborney is retiring just shy of 40 full years at The Blade, the bulk of which has been spent writing feature obituaries and covering breaking news during Tuesday-Saturday afternoons and evenings. Mark, who’s a journalism graduate of Wayne State University in Detroit, came to The Blade after working a variety of newsroom, editorial, and sports jobs at the Detroit Free Press.
