New article paywall

In case you get phone calls from readers, we wanted you to know that we have launched a new article paywall for toledoblade.com and the eBlade.

Current subscribers should not notice a change. Non-subscribers will see a paywall after scrolling down about 25 percent into an article, and will receive a subscription offer. If these non-subscribers are located in Lucas, Wood, or Ottawa Counties, and come to the site via a social post, they will be able to access 3 articles a month for free before they hit the paywall.

The Blade NewsSlide share site also is still available for social news posts, with no paywall.
