March Eddy Award winners

DESK EDDY
Jordie Henry and Jackie Powell win and for all they do to support newsroom and library efforts.

They regularly work together to coordinate needs and handle projects, including making sure contest entries are submitted.

Jackie took it upon herself to make sure a front office was cleaned and prepared for a visit by Ohio’s governor.

She also made sure she was here early that morning in case anything was needed.

Jordie handled preparation of a large, outside request for material while also juggling her daily duties.

NEWS EDDY
Mark Monroe is recognized for a busy month of sports coverage, namely juggling a high school hockey semifinal and high school wrestling finals on the same weekend. This was made even more difficult by wrestling going late into an evening, but he handled this well and under pressure. Mark has done solid work this month with the Walleye beat. He also was graciously flexible when a traffic jam occurred with vacation-date requests.

VISUAL EDDY
This goes to Jeremy Wadsworth for a strong mix of feature and sports photography. Jeremy captured great shots with both regional and state basketball. In addition, he continues to provide regular and unique wild art material.

All winners receive a $50 gas card.
