Meet Debbie Rogers

Hi, I am excited to join the Blade newsroom, covering the Toledo suburbs.

I am originally from Toledo, growing up in the south end and graduating from Bowsher High School. After graduating from Bowling Green State University, I joined the Sentinel-Tribune news staff in Bowling Green. I’ve been working there for 34 years, the last five as editor.

My husband, Brett, is also a Bowsher graduate. We have two children, Jack and Macy, who are finance majors and Division I golfers. Jack is a recent graduate of Cleveland State University, with his MBA. Macy is a senior at the University of Toledo.

In my free time, I like to golf, work out, read, and watch my kids compete on the course.
