Meet Elaine Sung

It is a return to newspapers (albeit the digital form) for Elaine, who joins The Blade after 13 years at ESPN and ESPN.com.

She attended the University of Kansas, where she covered the 1988 NCAA men’s basketball title team, then worked at the Miami Herald, the Washington Post and Newsday (Long Island) before heading to ESPN.

Elaine is from Rochester, N.Y., and likes the snow. Her passion is ice hockey; she played on three recreational teams in Connecticut, and is hoping to find some teams here.
