Meet Emma Finer

My name is Emma Finer, and I have joined The Blade as a high school sports writer.

I am originally from Connecticut and graduated from the Brian Lamb School of Communication at Purdue University in 2023. I have worked in five different states, previously writing for The Purdue Exponent, Futures Collegiate Baseball League, Iowa Barnstormers, and McAlester News-Capital.

Outside of work, I enjoy watching my favorite teams (Los Angeles Rams, Boston Celtics, and Boston Red Sox) as well as doing any outdoor activities. I look forward to connecting with the Toledo community and continuing to grow in this role.
