Meet Geoff Burns

I come from the Northwest Signal in Napoleon, where I was a general news reporter. I also covered council meetings, crime, and designed pages. I worked at the daily newspaper from January 2015 through October 2016.

I graduated from Bowling Green State University in May 2014. During my time in school, I worked at The BG News, the university newspaper, and was an intern at the Crescent-News in Defiance. While in school full-time, I worked part-time at McDonald’s for three years.

I currently freelance for various music outlets on the side including Alternative Press, Noisey, Substream Magazine, PureVolume and Highlight Magazine. I became extremely interested in music at a young age and try to listen to at least a few hours of it each day.

I live with my long-time girlfriend. Britt, and our two German Shepherd dogs, Chloe and Rylie, in Bowling Green.
