Meet intern Alex Nester
Alex is a student at Hillsdale College and is working this summer as an intern on the editorial board for The Blade.
Alex Nester
A Toledo native, Alex graduated from Central Catholic High School in 2016, where her family has attended for four generations. Currently, she is a junior in college studying economics and journalism.
Though studying economics consumes most of her time, Alex writes for The Hillsdale Collegian and will work on the news editing team this fall. She also serves on the executive board of Chi Omega Fraternity and is involved in Praxis, an Austrian economics club on campus.
Alex enjoys coffee, traveling, and walking her 120-pound German Shepherd, Shamrock. Though she was raised in northwest Ohio, she loves beaches and sunshine. She is glad to spend the summer with her mom, dad, and younger brother, and she looks forward to working at The Blade.
