Meet intern Cameron Fields
A Sports Journalism Institute alum, a program helping minorities and women for more than 25 years get into newsrooms, Cameron will be a senior in the fall at Ohio University.
Cameron Fields
He is studying journalism with a concentration in news and information. He also specializes in Chinese and English. In the fall, Cameron will be a sports writer for the campus newspaper, The Post.
At The Post, he’s covered field hockey, wrestling, football and women’s basketball. He’s written athlete profiles, features and game stories.
Cameron is excited about his internship with The Blade because it’s his first experience in a newsroom environment. He hopes to grow as a reporter and learn as much as possible.
