Meet intern Jose Davila IV

Jose comes to The Blade from New Haven, Conn., where he covers Yale-New Haven Relations and other city issues for the Yale Daily News and majors in Global Affairs. He has also been published in on-campus magazines The Politic and The Globalist. He was also the editor-in-chief of his high school newspaper, Inside SI.

Besides journalism, Jose is an active member of the theater community at Yale as a house manager for various undergraduate shows and as an active member of the Yale Dramat.

Jose originally hails from Mill Valley, Calif., just north of San Francisco, but he’s also lived in New York, Tokyo, and London. He owes his interest in a journalism career to his parents who taught him to love books and writing.
