Meet intern Nicole Dirks

Nicole was raised in Toronto, Canada, and is currently a senior at Yale University pursuing a journalism and an English degree.

At Yale, Nicole is co-Editor-in-Chief of The New Journal, a long-form student magazine about New Haven and Yale. She also co-hosts a show for her college station, reads for The Yale Review, and serves as a research assistant for a journalist writing a book about squatters in Paris. In her free time, Nicole loves to run.

Nicole is excited to spend the summer learning from the journalists at The Blade, reporting in Toledo, and exploring the Glass City.
