Meet Jim Hemphill

Jim grew up in New York City and Williamsburg, Virginia. He is a 2015 graduate of The College of William and Mary, where he majored in history and got his start in journalism through a Student Free Press Association internship at the Washington Examiner.

Before joining The Blade as an editorial writer, he taught English as a Second Language in Busan, South Korea, and worked in New York as a branded content writer for the commercial real estate platform Bisnow.com.

In his free time, Jim enjoys books, movies, video games, and people (in that order). He lives with himself.
