Meet Karen Gidcumb

Karen is a member of The Blade’s Digital and NewsSlide team.

She grew up in Gibsonburg, Ohio, and after graduating from Kent State University in 2012, she began working for the Sandusky Register. She spent almost five years there as a page designer and copy editor before joining The Blade.

In her spare time, Karen enjoys fishing and spending time with her family and friends.

She has been married to her husband, Justin, for two years. They currently live in Fremont but are in the process of house hunting.
