Hi, I’m Montana and I am a copy editor for The Blade.

I studied a wide range of communications and visual arts while at the University of Toledo. This is also when my passion for writing and editing began. Once I graduated in the fall of 2018, I kicked off my career as a content specialist for Modern Builders Supply’s eCommerce website (Buymbs.com).

After a life alternating event, I decided to go remote with my work and began writing articles for Indeed.com through Copypress and picked up many freelancing projects to gain more experience. As I started to adjust to my new normal, I decided to return to working full-time. This is when I stumbled across an opportunity that I had always hoped for with The Blade.

When I’m not working, I love taking my rescue dog/son (Jack) to the park. I also enjoy doing crafts, spending quality time with those close to me, playing video games, cooking, and attending fun events.

Working at The Blade has always been a goal of mine, and I am excited to begin my new journey with such a wonderful team!
