Meet Noah Ripley

Noah is a designer and copy editor for The Blade.

He grew up in Springfield, Ore., and graduated with an anthropology degree from Willamette University in Salem, Ore., in 2014. After that, he mowed baseball fields for a parks and recreation department near Portland for a few years before returning to school to earn a master’s degree in journalism from the University of Oregon.

Before joining The Blade, Noah worked as a page designer and copy editor for The News-Review in Roseburg, Ore.

Outside of work, he enjoys basketball, video games, reading, and sometimes walking around outside to look at trees and such. As someone with limited experience with the Midwest, Noah is very much looking forward to figuring out what Ohio’s all about.
