Meet Owen Krucoff

Owen joins The Blade as a sports copy editor after a stint as a sports writer at the Exponent Telegram in Clarksburg, W.Va. He is new to Toledo, having grown up in the Maryland suburbs of Washington.

Owen attended the University of Missouri before moving to West Virginia.

Owen has been interested in sports and journalism for as long as he can remember and is excited to be getting started at The Blade. He served on student newspapers in high school and college and worked at the Columbia Missourian, the University of Missouri’s local newsroom operated by the journalism school.

In his spare time, Owen is looking forward to exploring the Toledo area. He plays ultimate frisbee and loves to talk about and follow sports, especially his hometown Washington teams.
