Meet Precious Fondren

I’m joining The Blade team as the new features-music reporter. This past summer I worked as a features intern at the Minneapolis Star Tribune. I’ve dabbled in print, radio, and TV with internships at North MetroTV, Minnesota Public Radio, and Kare11.

I was born in Minneapolis, Minn., and graduated from the University of Minnesota in May with a degree in professional journalism and sociology of law, criminology, and deviance. I cringe when asked if I’m going to graduate school, but if I ever did it would definitely be law school.

Outside of journalism, I’m truly passionate about my family’s well-being and happiness, along with traveling.
