Meet Ron Seibel

After 25 years of touring the country, Ron Seibel returns to Toledo as a sports copy editor.

A 1993 Northview and 1997 Ball State graduate, Ron joins The Blade after serving as the sports editor of the Albany (Ga.) Herald. Ron worked for 11 years in the sports department of The Telegraph in Macon, Ga., and previously worked at dailies in Florida, Arizona, Utah and Indiana.

Ron grew up in the Toledo area, working as a Blade carrier in the late 1980s while attending McCord Junior High School. His hobbies include grilling, inspired in part by the work of Guy Fieri and Bobby Flay on Food Network, travel, and fantasy football.
