Meet Ryne Hisada

Ryne Hisada is a newsroom intern at The Blade and a rising senior at Yale University.

Originally from the Greater Chicago area, he is excited to be working in Toledo this summer. At Yale, Ryne writes magazine pieces for campus publications and edits for the Yale Daily News Magazine.

Ryne’s previous summers have been spent conducting research on jazz history in Okinawa and freelancing in Tokyo. Outside of journalism, he leads the Yale Undergraduate Jazz Collective and serves as a research assistant to a political scientist studying youth politics.
