Meet Sam Sharp

I first started with The Blade in a part-time sports agate position, and eventually had the opportunity to become a full-time editor on the copy desk.

Previously, I have worked as an intern for The Music Syndicate in New Jersey, a barista at Biggby Coffee, and in the BGSU Marketing & Communications office as a student staff writer.

I was born in Greenfield, Ind., and graduated from BGSU in May with a degree in multiplatform journalism and a minor in the music industry. I have had experience in college radio, music marketing, entertainment editing, social media management and feature writing.

Outside of the office, I love spending time with my two dogs — an almost 1-year-old pug named Al and a 9-year-old chihuahua named Gonzo. My favorite movie is Moulin Rouge and one of my life goals is to read all of Stephen King’s books.
