Meet Tony Raap

Tony  is the night city editor.

He moved to Toledo from the Pittsburgh area, where he was an assistant city editor at the Tribune-Review in Greensburg. Before that, he was a reporter at the Pittsburgh Trib. Tony also worked at papers in Jasper, Ind., Gillette, Wyo., and Lake Havasu, Ariz.

Tony, 35, was born and raised in Sioux Falls, S.D., where he studied journalism at Augustana University. He has a master’s degree in journalism from Northwestern University.

Tony lives in a modest studio apartment on the ninth floor of the Park Lane Residences in Uptown. He enjoys watching Seinfeld reruns and reading John Grisham novels.
