Newsroom attorney Fritz Byers to speak on June 20

Fritz Byers, who’s the longtime attorney for The Blade newsroom, will be the first in our speaker series planned for this summer.

Fritz is an expert on First Amendment issues and has represented The Blade in various such lawsuits. He will speak about recent law changes that could impact our ability to collect public records and cover public meetings. He’ll also take questions.

Other speakers and dates will be announced soon.
