Police presence at Blade Building

Kevan Toney, the spokesman for the Toledo Police Department, notified Dave Murray on June 29, 2018, that there will be extra police presence in front of The Blade Building because of the shooting at the Capital Gazette in Maryland.

You may notice an officer sitting in front of your building from time to time the next couple days. I’ve requested extra patrol when available at our local media locations. Hopefully you see some of that extra presence and it makes people feel a little more secure. Horrible shooting yesterday.
