Features is restarting a day-trip series for the Saturday travel page, featuring destinations within about an hour and a half of Toledo.

The stories would run 1-2 times per month.

In the past, reporters have gone to the Armstrong Air & Space Museum in Wapakoneta, the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, and a petting zoo in Ann Arbor.

Anyone in the building is welcome to pitch a day-trip idea to our Features Editor, Vincent Lucarelli.

We’ll begin running them on Saturdays in May.
