Taste of summer

To help ring in summer, The Blade will be supplying root beer floats to staffers from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. June 13 in the rear of the building.

The treat was requested by Andy Wolf, the most recent newsroom Eddy winner.

Root beer will be provided by The Tapped 419 Jeep. The Blade will provide the ice cream, cups and spoons.

The temperature is expected to be in the 80s.
