Wadsworth wins ONPA clip photographer of 2022
Congrats to Jeremy Wadsworth for being named the top clip photographer of the year by the Ohio News Photographers Association, with 2,004 total votes. It’s the first time The Blade has reached this first-place designation in more than two decades.
Additionally, FOUR other Blade photographers made the top 10.
They are Isaac Ritchey, second place; Rebecca Benson, third place; Kurt Steiss, fifth place; and former Blade photographer Lizzie Heintz in 10th place.
Photographers who enter this contest are judged on their work monthly in eight different categories and based on a point system, with the winner named after the year.
We are very proud of everyone for the recognition here.
Also, ONPA on Feb. 26 will announce the results of its annual photography contest. Good luck to all on The Blade’s photo staff!
