Meet Danny Eldredge

Danny Eldredge is the new Columbus bureau chief for The Blade and will be covering state government issues that matter to the residents of northwest Ohio.

Prior to joining The Blade, Danny worked as an Ohio Statehouse reporter for Hannah News Service for 12 years, covering a range of issues including elections, water quality, natural resources, cannabis, gambling, health care, transportation, and arts/sports/entertainment.

In 2010, Danny earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism and politics/government from Ohio Wesleyan University, where he worked as editor-in-chief of the student newspaper, the Transcript.

He lives in Lewis Center with his partner, Rachel, their son, Isaac, and their miniature dachshund, Dash.
