Use Toledo Clinic only for Secor Road facility
When writing about The Toledo Clinic please refer to it that way.
On second reference, it is permitted to refer to the Secor Road facility as “the clinic” or “Toledo Clinic”.
When writing headlines for stories about Toledo’s remaining abortion clinic DO NOT use the phrase “Toledo clinic”, such as a 2015 headline about the abortion provider Capital Care Network, which read: “Toledo clinic to remain open”. This has caused The Toledo Clinic much grief.
