Meet Olivia Woo

Olivia Woo is a newsroom intern at The Blade and a rising junior at Yale University. Originally from Brooklyn, N.Y., she is excited to get to know Toledo this summer!

At Yale, Olivia is a managing editor of the Yale Daily News, where she oversees coverage of local businesses, campus protests, and everything in between. She previously covered the Yale College administration for the News’ University desk, where she fielded student reactions to budget cuts and conducted weekly interviews with the dean.

Olivia is an avid thrifter and expects to spend long hours browsing local Goodwills. She hopes to partake in Toledo’s food scene and see the sun set over Lake Erie!
