Blade garners 19 awards in Ohio APME contest
We have tremendous news to share and it’s a reflection of all of your hard work and efforts during the trying year of 2020.
Finalists for the 2020 Associated Press Media Editors’ contest were announced Tuesday and we have 19 nominations across all of our sections. For the Best Feature Photo, The Blade’s photo staff of Rebecca Benson, Kurt Steiss, and Jeremy Wadsworth swept the category.
The awards in order of finish — first, second, and third places — will be announced later, along with the General Excellence, Hall of Fame, Rising Star, and First Amendment winners.
Congratulations to everyone nominated. We’re very proud of this recognition for The Blade’s work.
