Meet Andrea “Dre” Rodriquez-Ahl

This is Dre’s second time around at The Blade after a five-year stint with Kyle Media Inc. She is working in The Blade’s Marketing Department as a graphic artist.

At Kyle Media, Dre was the graphic designer for Great Lakes Scuttlebutt Magazine. She designed and laid out the magazine and worked with clients on print and digital display ads.

Previously, Dre spent more than six years as a graphic designer and copy editor in our newsroom, designing and laying out Features pages, special sections, and some company-produced books.

Before The Blade, she was a marketing committee co-chair and graphic designer for eight years for LatinoFest in Toledo, so she is quite familiar with all the various pieces needed to pull off a successful event. Dre also worked as a television graphic artist at WNWO-TV, Channel 24.

Dre has a bachelor of fine arts degree in graphic design from Bowling Green State University and attended Perrysburg High School. She now lives in Toledo.
